Nesse domingo (25) foi marcado pela 93.ª cerimônia de entrega dos Academy Awards, ou Oscars 2021, foi apresentada pela Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas, que homenageia os melhores filmes lançados entre 1 de janeiro de 2020 e 28 de fevereiro de 2021.

Nomaland foi o maior vencedor e destaque da noite, o que já era previsível por ser um dos filmes com mais prêmios em toda a temporada de premiação que aconteceu. A noite também consagrou alguns vencedores, que sabemos que uma premiação com tanto tempo de estrada, só está atento a essas questões de representatividade apenas agora.

Chloe Zhao fez história de diversas maneiras. Nomaland é um dos filmes, digamos que “mais baratos” a levar a maioria dos prêmios quais foram idicados, e também faz história como a primeira mulher asiática a levar o prêmio de melhor direção, e agora é a segunda mulher a receber esse prêmio. Esperamos que daqui para frente, continue tendo melhorias entre os proprios estudios, reconhecendo a necessidade de sair de uma bolha de sempre os mesmos atores.
